Learning Objectives
- Understand the fundamental methodology of BIM and describe the relevance and application of Revit as a tool within the overall BIM workflow.
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge to work with building services (MEP) components and systems, following industry recognised best practice protocols to efficiently create 3D models as a basis for drawings, schedules, and analysis applications.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of technologies and practices applicable to the use of 3D design software.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement applied design package solutions to communicate & quantify building project elements.
- Demonstrate the ability to use modern computer-based engineering software tools to solve well-defined building and services design problems and communicate effectively with the engineering community.
