Construction Innovation Forum YouTube Channel
AMCA and BIM-MEPAUSare excited to announce the launch of our dedicated Construction Innovation Forum YouTube Channel.
The channel is linked to the Construction Innovation Forum archive. It contains over 75 presentations and 150+ hours of innovative ideas, insights and case studies, delivered by some of the world’s leading practitioners and thought leaders.
This incredible resource is freely available, and users can subscribe to view presentations, receive new content alerts and customise their preferences.
Construction Innovation 2019 Forum
The tenth Construction Innovation Forum will be held on the 22 – 23 August at MCEC. This years line-up of speakers will again provide valuable insights into the future of built environment design, construction and asset management. Being our 10th anniversary of the forum, we will be making some exciting announcements around the event over the next few months.
BIM-MEPAUS Website Update
You may have noticed a new look to the BIM-MEPAUS website and in particular, the Forum microsite. Over the coming months there will be some significant updates to the website to better support industry practitioners including a new shared parameter reference site and product data template download centre.
BIM-MEPAUS Technical Update
Applying a continuous improvement approach the technical group represented by industry have been busy reviewing all BIM-MEPAUS component specifications, families and subsequent parameter data-sets. Keep an eye out for the release of the new generic design centrifugal pump families with more functionality and detailed parameters in the coming weeks. Together with the product specification that details the features and functionality of the pump model including the connector settings for power and water, we are excited about the benefits these models will deliver to the industry including designers, manufacturers and asset/maintenance managers.
