The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) is pleased to announce Ms Amanda Comunale as the latest high profile international keynote presenter at the BIM-MEPAUS Construction Innovation 2015 Forum. The AMCA is grateful that Victaulic will participate having providing an outstanding keynote address in 2010 and a valuable panel member last year.
Ms Amanda Comunale is Director of Construction Piping Services at Victaulic, a manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining and fire protection systems. Amanda leads the teams responsible for software content development, training, prefabrication analysis and drawing services, and drives the development of new offerings that enhance service to Victaulic customers throughout the project life cycle. Amanda’s specialties include fire protection, fabrication, logistics, distribution management, operations management and MEP piping. Prior to joining Victaulic, Amanda was Vice President of Operations/Services with S.A. Comunale, a leading mechanical, fire protection and HVAC services company based in Akron, Ohio. She is a member of the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) as well as the American Supply Association’s Women in Industry Division. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation and as a board member of the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation. Amanda holds a BA from Union College, an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a certificate in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Akron.
Amanda will be joined at the forum by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms such as the Victaulic are utilising technological advancements to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.
It will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 6-7 August 2015.
