Turner Construction Company returns to headline the Construction Innovation 2017 Forum

The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) is pleased to announce Mr Tyler Goss, is the latest high profile international keynote presenter at the BIM-MEPAUS Construction Innovation 2017 Forum. The AMCA appreciates its great relationship with Turner Construction Company and welcomes their representation once again. In 2014, Mr Jim Barrett, Chief Innovation Officer, delivered an outstanding keynote address on integrated building solutions.

Tyler also participated in 2014 during his time at CASE. His presentation was also well regarded and he is recognised globally for his thought leadership. Both Jim and Tyler’s past presentations in 2014 are available for download at https://www.bimmepaus.com.au/forum/events/forum-2014/

As Turner Construction’s Global Innovation Development Manager, Tyler oversees a broad portfolio of organizational transformation initiatives. Whether he is coaching internal entrepreneurs, advising senior leadership, developing external partnerships, or pioneering new revenue streams for the company, he is a passionate advocate for the broad technological and cultural changes necessary to meet the challenges facing current and future generations of the AEC industry.

In signing up for this year’s forum, Tyler said: “It is really great to be part of this year’s event. I enjoy sharing my work with the Australian industry and I am impressed how much effort the AMCA has maintained to drive this initiative.”

Trained as an architect at UCLA, he has previously held positions at SHoP Architects, CASE Design, and WeWork. In total, he has nearly 20 years of experience in design, construction, and operations, granting a deep understanding of the current state of the industry across all phases of delivery. Combining this knowledge with a strategic vision for both future technological trends and process improvement, his goal is to continuously raise the bar for the effective and efficient delivery of buildings at Turner and throughout the industry.

Tyler will be joined at the forum by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms such as Woods Baggot, WSP, McKinstry, Trimble, and Autodesk are utilising technological advancements to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.

This year’s forum returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 14 – 15 September.
