On 3 November 2011, representatives from the BIM-MEPAUS Project Board will present to the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA). NECA is the only association that represents the interests of electrical and communications contractors Australia-wide, from employers and business people to technicians. AMCA believes NECA is essential to ensure electrical equipment models are developed in a collaborative environment to ensure best of breed technical schedules, geometry and connectivity issues are addressed. AMCA will look to formalise Arrangements under a memorandum of understanding with NECA.
