On 2 September 2011, a representative from the BIM-MEPAUS Project Board presented to the Built Environment Industry Innovation Council. The objectives of the presentation included communicating the progress to date and the future vision. Members of the BEIIC highlighted their ongoing support of the initiative and were particularly interested in training and education requirements going forward.
The AMCA believes there are significant opportunities to partner Commonwealth Government and BEIIC in the development of training and education program at a whole of industry perspective. The BEIIC is an important vehicle and has the potential to link with the Australian Construction Industry Forum particularly when progressing activities that help deliver integrated project delivery and supply chain integration.
