We have written to everyone in Australia and New Zealand whose personal information we hold in connection with BIM-MEP AUS — our subscribers, our contacts at manufacturers and suppliers, people who have attended a BIM-MEP AUS event, and people registered to receive our news and updates. The notice we sent is set out below. If you did not receive it, or you are not sure whether we hold your details, please contact us.
As part of the ongoing growth, development, and structuring of BIM-MEP AUS, an industry initiative of the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors’ Association of Australia Limited (ABN 87 005 021 670) (AMCA), we may need to share your personal information with various third parties, including our partners and related bodies, potential or actual acquirers of our businesses, our service providers, and regulatory agencies. If we must share your information, we will do so on a confidential basis and, wherever practicable, in de-identified or aggregated form.
We seek your consent for us to do this.
If you do not consent to us sharing your personal information, you can opt out by sending us an email at bimmepaus@amca.com.au by Monday 21 September 2026 (Opt-Out Period). Opting out will not affect any subscription you currently hold. It does mean that we cannot pass your details to a person who takes over the operation of BIM-MEP AUS, which may affect the renewal of your BIM-MEP AUS subscription when your current subscription comes to an end.
If we do not receive an opt-out email from you before the end of the Opt-Out Period, we will assume you have provided your consent for us to share your personal information.
