ClearEdge3D Business Development Manager to keynote at the Construction Innovation 2016 Forum  

The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) is pleased to announce Mr Tim Lowery, is the latest high profile international keynote presenter at the BIM-MEPAUS Construction Innovation 2016 Forum.

 ClearEdge3D has a track record of technological innovation and thought leadership in the Automated Feature Extraction, laser scanning and 3D modeling space. The company was founded in 2006 by recognized experts in the field of computer vision, hyperspectral data analysis, and LiDAR data analysis. The first version of EdgeWise Building™ focused on building and terrain modeling and was launched in 2009.  The technology rapidly gained customer traction and industry acclaim. In 2011 EdgeWise Plant™ was released for the process manufacturing and plant modeling industry, which was soon followed by EdgeWise MEP™.

This year we are delighted to announce that Mr Tim Lowery, Business Development Manager will address the audience. Tim’s has over 18 years’ experience in high technology industries, and has spent the last seven years building ClearEdge3D into the innovative market leader that delivers fast and accurate 3D models for as-built projects.

 In 2006, ClearEdge3D pioneered the use of automated feature extraction for terrestrial laser scanning.  ClearEdge3D’s flagship software product, EdgeWise™, is now used around the world to automate the creation of BIM as-built models from point cloud data.  ClearEdge3D are currently researching and developing tools to compare design models against scan data to find and quantify deviations – particularly for use in the VDC arena.

Tim will be joined at the forum by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms such as Hochtief Company, Trimble, Autodesk, Buro Happold Engineering, and  U.S Engineering Company are utilising technological advancements to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.

It will be held at the Australian Technology Park, Sydney on 4 –5 August 2016.
