BuroHappold Engineering Global Head of BIM to keynote at the Construction Innovation 2016 Forum


The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) is pleased to announce Mr Alain Waha, is the latest high profile international keynote presenter at the BIM-MEPAUS Construction Innovation 2016 Forum.

For 40 years they have been building their reputation for delivering creative, value led building and city solutions for an ever changing world.
Mr Alain Waha will present a keynote address. Alain currently holds the role of global head of BIM and Digital Design for BuroHappold, alongside other advisory positions with PWC and digital start-ups. Alain has a lifetime experience in the application of a digital approach. After a career in Aerospace and Automotive, with roles in UK, Europe and Asia, Alain transferred to the construction industry in 2008.
Initially as the CEO of a 500 strong firm providing CAD services, he created his first BIM team and started offering BIM services. His experience of BIM transformation and digital implementation spans the AEC value chain. His work includes VDC in the Middle-East, Scan to BIM and Design project in Europe, and Supply Chain enablement in the United States. He currently advises and steers BuroHappold Engineering’s global initiatives in Digital adoption and delivery.
Alain will be joined at the forum by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms such as Hochtief Company, Trimble, Autodesk, ClearEdge3D, and U.S Engineering Company are utilising technological advancements to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.
It will be held at the Australian Technology Park, Sydney on 4 –5 August 2016.
