USA Leading Mechanical Contractor – The Hill Group – To Take the Main Stage at the Construction Innovation Forum

The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) is excited to announce Mr David Pikey, Vice President of Corporate Technology for The Hill Group – a high-profile Mechanical Contractor from the USA – will be gracing the Construction Innovation 2019 Forum. Since 2010, the AMCA and the Australian industry has been extremely fortunate to have representation from US Engineering, Cannistraro, The Brandt Group of Companies, McKinstry, Comfort Systems USA, and Crown House Technologies (UK). Returning for The Hill Group and a crowd favourite, Dave’s participation this year adds to a star-studded list. The Hill Group is a $250M Chicago-based organization engaged in construction and maintenance of building systems – all focused on energy efficiency and sustainability.

Dave will focus on how the MEP industry continues to evolve through a connection between design and construction, and specifically how The Hill Group increase productivity by incorporating technology and Lean construction. methods into projects and processes. This link between design and construction is already starting to be bridged by some, but for the majority, it continues to be an issue. As an industry leader, Dave will talk about how the Hill Group tackle this issue on projects, how client demand is influencing a change in business practice and what the industry needs to navigate through this inevitable restructuring.

Dave will be joined at the forum by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms are utilising technological advancements to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.

This year’s forum is at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 22 – 23 August.
