BIM-MEPAUS Road Map – 2012 Parliamentary Launch

On 15 August 2012, the AMCA held its annual event in Parliament House Canberra. The BIM-MEPAUS Road map document was launched. Senator the Hon Kate Lundy MP, Minister Assisting for Industry and Innovation officially launched the report. Senator Lundy said she understood the benefits industry will realise from introducing the technology and processes which Government supports. Senator Lundy said leadership is important when introducing change, and the role AMCA is playing is to be commended because it is transformational. The AMCA National President Mr Earl Sakareassen, said the industry needs BIM to improve productivity because it has stalled over the past decade. Mr Sakareassen outlined to the members of parliament the work AMCA has undertaken over the past two years on this intiative.
